Sr. Luz Amparo Rico, Justa Vargas, Maria Cecilia Moncada, Marta Luz Gómez y Amparo García, celebrated their 50 years of religious consecration on January 6. In the same celebration, was the renewall of Edith Amparo Jaramillo. The Eucharist took place in Nuestra Señora de los Dolores parish, in Sabaneta, Medellín.
Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix from all the communities of Colombia who had gathered to celebrate Christmas time and have their annual Spiritual Exercises, family and friends accompanied the sisters in this moment of thanksgiving and joy for their vocation and life.
Also this year, on January 4, the 60th anniversary of the arrival of the first Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix to Colombia was celebrated. The first to arrive 60 years ago, they started writing in Pueblorico, Antioquia, the history of the Congregation in Colombia.
