On the day of Ephifany in 1937, Mother Rosario Fernandez Pereira, a cloistered Dominican in the Belvis convent, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, received from the Lord the gift of guiding her to start a Congregation that lives the love for one another. Along with her, the support and closeness of the Dominican Father Esteban González Vigil, who knew how to read, after the healing of the Mother Foundress, the signs that the Lord was tellling him.
On January 6, the entire Congregation remembers, but above all thanks the Lord for looking on Mother Rosario and inspiring her to live the love as his Son Jesus lived following the commandment “love one another as I have loved you.”
The Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix continue to bring that charism to life, living it in our communities and apostolates, working and building the Kingdom among us.
