The X General Chapter of the Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix held from 8 to 28 May at the Centro Internacional Teresiano Sanjuanista (CITe’S) in Avila ended with a Eucharist presided over by Fr. Juan Navarro, Vicar for Religious of the Diocese of Avila.
These have been days for reflection and for looking at the reality of the Congregation. The motto “rooted in Christ, radiant in love and journeying in hope” has been an invitation to recreate the charism of love that Mother Rosary received on January 6, 1937.
Ahead is the task of implementing the Chapter agreements so that all the sisters of the Congregation walk together seeking the best for the Church and for the Institute. During the Eucharist, Sr. Maria Teresa Andrade invited us to start this journey “with joy and enthusiasm”.
In the next few days the Chapter Delegates will start their journey back to the various missions, taking with them the experience of a time lived in prayer and fraternity. Save and sound journey to all.
