Mary Mediatrix Feast

The feast of Mary Mediatrix, that we celebrate as a Congregation every 8th May, gave us this year the gift of the election of the new Pope, Cardinal Robert Prevost, Leo XIV.

The Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix are blessed with a charism and a filiation. Mother Rosario, daughter of St. Dominic, drew from the Dominican sources the love for Mary, the deep devotion to the Rosary, above all the desire to ask the mediation of the Virgin Mary to intercede, to teach us and to help us to be mediators as she was at the wedding feast of Cana.

The election of Pope Leo XIV brings a missionary spirit to the Church as Cardinal Robert Prevost, an Augustinian, was a missionary in Peru for more than thirty years.

We pray for him that he may lead the Church along the paths of peace and fraternal love.
