It was in 2006, by decision of the VII General Chapter, that the desire of Mother Rosario Fernández Pereira to create a group of lay people who would walk together with the Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix was taken up again.
During these years, work has been carried out in different countries, creating various groups of friends who have joined the missionary family, wishing to share spirituality and charism.
After listening to the reality of the Lay Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix in India, Colombia and Spain, the formation that they are following and the commitments they are taking on, the X General Chapter decided to strengthen these groups and to open up horizons for a greater integration into the life of the Missionary of Mary Mediatrix.
Jesús and Miriam, married and with three children, from the group of friends in Spain, shared their experience with the Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix and expressed their desire and of those who are with them to continue deepening and living the charism and mission of the Congregation. It was a moment of joy, recounter and a lot of hope for the future.
