From 26th December 2025 to 1st January 2026, the Province of India held its IV Provincial Chapter, in Mari Rani, dioceses of Warangal, Telengana state. Presided over by Sr. Mercedes Arbesú Suárez, Superior General, the 53 delegates present reflected on and analysed the situation of the Province and the steps to be taken over the next three years.
The new government team is Sr. Valsamma Lukose, Provincial, Sr. Mercy Gregory, Vice Provincial, Sr. Jessy Joseph, Councillor and Secretary, and Sr. Archena Thomas, Councillor, Junior Mistress and in charge of Formation. As part of the team Sr. Soji Joseph, Administrator, and Sr. Dalia Joseph, Novice Mistress.
During the Provincial Chapter, objectives were set for the next three years and priorities were established in the areas of spirituality, community and mission.
The first two communities of Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix were opened in India in 1975. Currently, the Province has 22 communities in the country and two abroad.
