The sisters work at the “La Casa de los Angeles” school for mentally handicapped children; the school is located on the sisters’ property. It is a new building that was financed by the IUVE Foundation; at the moment they have 18 children in the school; every morning, in a small bus the sisters go around the different villages to pick up the children; they are all from very poor families. Another sister is in charge of the fields where they grow different crops to help support the household.
The community participates in parish programs, catechesis, youth groups, missionary groups, visits to families and the sick. There is a boarding school for young people who have no way to study and work in their places of origin.
