Memory Kwatelera makes her First Profession in Malawi

In a celebration presided over by the Archbishop of Lilongwe, Most. Rev. George Tambala, the novice Memory Kwatelera made her First Profession at St. Andrew Kaggwa Parish in Lilongwe. Priests, the Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix in Malawi, religious, family and friends accompanied Memory in this especial moment of her life.

In his homily, Bisoph Tambala reminded the need for witnesses in the Church who live the spirit of the Beatitudes and thanked the Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix for the work they do in the archdiocese, a work, he said, ‘quiet, where the people perceive the love and care of the missionaries’.

TAfter the ceremony, lunch was shared in a fraternal atmosphere. Sr. Memory Kwatelera will now join the community of Amai Maria, in Lilongwe, in the boarding school for girls that the missionaries coordinate there.
