Sr. Mercedes Arbesú, Superior General, visited the communities of Welrte and Delmenhorst in Germany at the beginning of April, where she shared with the sisters who carry out their mission there, collaborating in the old people’s homes of St. Raphael and Hildegard.
During the days spent together, Sr. Mercedes have had the opportunity to know the reality of the two communities and the challenges and hopes they face.
The work the sisters do is appreciated by the management, the staff above all by the inmates of the two Old Age Home.
The Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix arrived in the community of Welrte, in the district of Emsland, in the state of Lower Saxony, in 2013. In 2020 the community of Delmenhorst, in the district of Oldenburg, also in the state of Lower Saxony, will be opened.
